I don't know if something like this already exists, but it would be cool if there was an #OpenSource / #CreativeCommons collaborative worldbuilding/storytelling project in style of #scpfoundation but more sci-fi instead of horror, like an open-source Star (Wars|Trek|Gate).

The hashtag you used gave me an idea. Base it on the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov.

A scientist predicts the inevitable end of a galactic civilization and a dark age of barbarism lasting 30,000 years but convinces the Emperor to allow him to colonize and create a Foundation on a remote world with the goal of shortening this dark age to only 1000 years.

If I were to start such project I would likely take a lot of elements from Perry Rhodan.

I've yet to read the Foundation series.
