@ck0 Idk, can you do all the usual UNIXy shit on Sailfish? Things like mucking about with different DEs, hacking together stuff in C then running it as nornal, running desktop programs on your phone with no patches just because you can etc

@ck0 tbh I want a unixy phone specifically to do unixy things unrestrained

On Android you can do a bit with Termux but it's really limited: no 3D acceleration, you need to go trough VNC for X11 and there's it's severely restricted when it comes to accessing what's outside the Termux box. I want something like on my laptop where I can write some silly glue to do just about anything.

@Reiddragon Yeah I get this. Droidian is a port of debian adapted for android smartphones (with Phosh for the DE). There are other linux for smartphones, like pmos, maemo leste, and SFOS (but there is the gui lib issues, graphic apps have to be made with silicaui, which isn't open)
