@jernej__s @azonenberg @stdevel No reason why it can‘t be done. Would be pretty slow, though. You‘d probably be better off sticking with SATA or even UDMA133 PATA.

@jernej__s @azonenberg @stdevel true. nvme is also just a much nicer spec than sata/pata. Both of them suck a lot, having nice shared memory command queues is soo much better 🥰

@manawyrm @azonenberg @jernej__s @stdevel NVMe over TCP is standardized, isn't it? If you can run a Linux 5.0 or later on your isa machine, you get NVMe via TCP via IP via Ethernet via ISA.
