Why Wubuntu was ever recommended to newer Linux users when it clearly could easily be sued by Microsoft for trademark violations, I have no idea.
I guess good job on finally pulling the recommendation? Still, this is irresponsible to be recommending distros that are CLEARLY illegal to have been made (Wubuntu likely won't get its users sued, juet the developer(s), but having a distro pulled under your feet is never good for new Linux users.)

Are you kidding me PCWorld!? Now YOU'RE pulling this crap!? (To be fair, they do recommend two other legitimately good distros, Zorin OS & Linux Mint, though I would absolutely replace Wubuntu with @tuxedocomputers Tuxedo OS.)
