It's not surprising that Trump will attempt to override the 14th Amendment to remove birthright citizenship, what I do find surprising is the total lack of historical references in the news: I haven't seen a single article mentioning very relevant historic events like Dred Scott v. Sandford and the American Civil War.
Journalists in the US now have a crucial opportunity to recall the past to stop retrogrades leaders destroying your country.
