Not sure if I remember correctly, but I think Matthew Carter once told us that Stanley Morison always used to drink a glass of champagne at 11:00 o’clock in the morning. (Looks like those 20-years old Typeradio recording have not yet been published, and it’s too foxy to fact check). Therefore this morning we celebrated our online xmas studio gathering with a classic 11:00 o’clock champagne. Such gatherings go in all directions: “We don’t run a company, but a mental space.” Happy xmas everybody!
