I haven't been feeling particularly festive this year, possibly due to a combo of ilness and then building work dragging on at home (we have a functional kitchen for Christmas, hurrah!). And I'm working up to the 24th.

But those jingles are starting to sneak in. My husband and I usually spend it by ourselves with the cats, with our fave films and good food. And that's always something to look forward to.

The cats have already had their presents, as they found the bag with new catnip toys in.

We also have little tiny china dishes for the cats, so they can have little a goose, as a treat, when we have our Christmas dinner.

They will, of course, wolf theirs down, then spend the entire meal trying to scrounge more. It is a festive tradition.

Actually, it's an all year round tradition for those two...
