Experiments like the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser suggest that particles can travel back in time to choose different paths based on future observation.

Some suggest that if humans weren't bound to the forward flow of time, we could ‘play in reverse’ to any point in our lives and select a different path (allowed in Einstein’s calculations; the multiverse; theme of ‘Tenet’).

What if #ADHD is a faint noise from the alternate paths one followed? All the carrots the ADHD brain has chased.

In our universe, we have black holes and what we perceive as the 'forward' flow of time.

Einstein’s theories and equations account for both black holes and white holes. It’s plausible that on the other side of each black hole is a white hole. In that universe everything is as we know it, except time flows in the opposite direction.

Who needs religion when there’s theoretical physics…??!!

@RaffKarva

What Einstein did not clarify is that time does not exist as a physical entity, it only corresponds to an evolutionary pattern, and therefore does not flow in any direction. Space is also an evolutionary or activity manifestation, and therefore is not predefined.

Speaking of Einstein, I find it fascinating how many breakthroughs start with a working age person sitting under a tree letting their mind wander worry free.

The fact is that advances in science and technology happen through work, not in zazen. Zazen is not for wandering, but for disconnecting from the practical mind.

@yoguiignacio

  1. Meditation and imagination are two separate processes.

  1. There are workers, and there are dreamers. Both perspectives are equally necessary.

  1. When I use my imagination, I do not disconnect from the practical world. I design 3d objects in my head, including all necessary dimensions and components. Sometimes (depending on what I’m building) I need to include physical world calculations (fluid dynamics etc). That takes time. Having time to do this is a privilege.
