It's quite sad that the cost of #LEGO actually reduces it's enjoyment.. I got a reasonably expensive (1460 brick) set for my birthday last year, and i still haven't even opened it because it was so expensive - that money might need to be used for something more important / needed :(

not to mention the weird economy around lego as a whole, where people buy hundreds of a rare set & keep them in warehouses for years until they're worth 10x..

as Marx said (of course):

@redauburn Lego sets only increase in price once Lego discontinues them. Good way to invest lol!
