I was told of an IUI professor today saying - publicly as part of a presentation - that he tells his students to use generative AI to analyze qualitative data. (!!) Especially if you're a "creative" because hey, you can even use a model that takes a more creative approach to analysis (whatever the hell that is).

Clearly, he has no business presenting or teaching about evaluation or data analysis.

@dsalo Yup. Definitely a situation of play clown games, get clown prizes. At least today.

Except at the end of the day, he goes back to his tenured job to confuse students and propagate lies.
