@rodlie the thing I find most infuriating about this issue is: copyright is out of step with popular understanding of copyright. Most normal humans (I claim) believe that personal use of anything is OK. ("No copyright intended".) We don't see a finger being lifted to align the law with this popular understanding. But massive-scale data mining to build LLMs which are then charged for: sure, we'll special-case that!
