Did you know Friction (flatpak) kinda works on ChromeOS (flex)? 🤓 Missing GPU support, but not really a problem, the performance is good enough.

Over 10 years since I did my first commit to #Natron... Where did the time go? Sadly the Natron project never reached its potential. The first couple years was fun, I learned a lot and had the privilege to work with very talented developers.

After 10 years on #CentOS it's time to move on to ... 🥁 ... @rockylinux 9.4

It took a couple of days to setup my tools properly, but I'm satisfied with the installation and hopefully I don't need to change anything for another ~8 years 🤞 😎

So... It's 2024 and Linux bluetooth still sucks.... Would be nice to have a meeting and be able to get more than 8khz mono. This is why #Linux on the #desktop will never happen. Where is my macbook!? (or chromebook or whatever not Linux desktop).

Pigs do actually fly ... #OpenFX 1.5 was released some days ago 🥳 been waiting 10 years for this update! #Color management, #GPU support, binary data... too bad I stopped caring several years ago... waiting for the first requests to add support in #Natron... will probably not happen for another 10 years 😜

So ... The Intel GPU driver on Linux has been more or less broken since 2019/2020. Nobody cares??? Why does my work laptop crash when I open a new dialog in my code editor or whatever? Been using Intel GPU's on Linux for 24+ years but enough is enough!

New Year's resolution is to either dump Linux or Intel (maybe both).
