incredible map of all github projects ! https://anvaka.github.io/map-of-github/

[#]QGIS seems to be the capital of MapLands, a peninsula of the AILand.

Absolute love for this work ❤️

[#]Freecad shares its CadTopia land with Printugalia and BIM district.

So we have the final answer to this recurring question. #BIM-#GIS-#CAD convergence will be a bridge, not a tectonic merge of continents

Travelling from MapLands to AIlandia requires to go through Carto3Dica and Jupyterra. Makes sense !

Mon autre île, Termina, dont j'aime particulièrement le district de "QuitLessia" dont la capitale est #Neovim / #Vim

@RegisHaubourg fantastic work indead, but i've a problem with qgis being the center of mapisland. It's one of my test with people, when they say "i know qgis, it's a software about making maps", i know that they know only 5% of what qgis is about, and that they dont know anything about gis. And i know how much it hurt my field.

@thomas_szczurek yes. QGIS is popular and I also spend my time explaining this is the tip of an iceberg full of projects going from databases to geodetic libraries.

This map is also very biased by making links through GitHub stars.

But hey, lots of interesting things in theren however. The whole osgeo world appears very compact and inter connected.

I already found some interesting projects just by looking around my favorite projects. Like a new way of finding its way.

@thomas_szczurek Maps are biased. But they are useful and we love them.
