This retro terminal software thing is making some progress.
Semi-related: What's a good DOS terminal emulator? This demo version of Terminate has some strange behavior (misreporting terminal size, does strange stuff if you print in the last column, color support is mixed at best).
And: What other terminal emulators, on other (emulated) platforms, should I try?

@HouseOfTea It certainly looks cool.
Though under the hood it's a normal, modern-ish Linux terminal application (even though it looks like the component they use hasn't been updated in a few years, which could be totally fine).
It's just not what I'm looking for at the moment as I already have a modern-ish terminal to test with.

@ChaosPost @c3isdn @manawyrm I traditionally use TELIX on DOS, or RIPterm for RIP graphics. Not sure if there are any good FOSS terminal Programm for DOS by now. TELIX is what I used back in the day...

@ChaosPost @c3isdn @manawyrm @LaF0rge For the Atari ST, pick perhaps CoNnect 97.

@ChaosPost @c3isdn @manawyrm It seems MS-DOS Kermit at http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/mskermit.html might be one of the few (if not the only?) open source terminal programs for DOS?
