Join me in doing the #52BookClub in 2025 and fill 52 prompts with the books you read! I’ve discovered such great #books this way (and I like checking off boxes). It’s helped expand my horizons when it comes to #reading!

My favorite 2025 prompts: “pun in the title” & “set in a country with an active volcano”, but there are other great ones.

Challenges like this have helped me get back into my reading habit. No need to read 52 books though! 😌

I sometimes post about books I read on here, but not all of them. I have a dormant bookwyrm account, but mostly use goodreads to track my reading. You’re welcome to add me there if you’d like!

@Shuhejla Great. Enjoy planning the challenge! For me, half of the fun is matching books I want to read to the prompts (and rearranging them throughout the year) 😅

@JensJot I don't think I'm going to plan afar. I will probably just take the list in hand whenever I decide what to read next. And I always start the year with Christmas presents, but in the beginning it's going to be easy to match them to the list.

@Shuhejla Yes, I don’t plan for the full year either - I want to read random finds and the books my book club(s) decide on, too.

Towards the end of the year there’s always a bit of shuffling for me since some prompts are easier to fill than others 👀

@JensJot I did participate in a few challenges on lovely books. Problem there was that I don't like the website too much, and don't open it often enough so I fell out of it. With a list to keep by my bookshelf and postings on a platform I open several times a week I think it is more fun.

@Shuhejla The #52BookClub has a very active Facebook group, if that’s your thing… and a good website and newsletter AFAIK, but I only ever use Goodreads and my own spreadsheet for it 😶
