I was going to reply to it with a letter to get me off this mailing list

then I thought about it and thought why should I spend a 1st-class stamp + paper + toner + envelope, to save them money on materials

and that thought pattern feels familiar, I think I went through this surprise, rejection, reconsideration before, and that's why I am on the list still.
