also also do buy oil, so that you can make the dough not stick to working surfaces without excessive amounts of flour, that definitely did not help (and the pita bread came out too thick and small since I couldn't stretch it much)

it is now one o'clock (in the PM) and thus time for lunch, the bread did work for making a wrap, so it can't be all that bad

@hayley@social.applied-langua.ge good tip: Dough will never be too moist but CAN be too dry. You'd much rather have bread that's just harder to make.
Salt actually makes dough easier to work with, something about it trapping moisture iirc.
Also oil is good, I add 1-2% (i.e a few drops) of Extra Virgin olive oil while making the dough.
