WTF Apple, I can’t figure out how to bookmark an open web page in mobile Safari. Aren’t you supposed to be good at UI stuff?

Yes, I realize everyone being “good at UI” went out the door with touch interfaces, but this is a fundamental browser feature, surely it’s in there somewhere.

If you didn’t already google it’s this:

1. Visit page

2. Tap Share icon (box w up arrow)

3. Scroll a little

4. add bookmark

Alternatively:

1. Visit page

2. Tap Page Menu icon (rectangle with 2 lines under on the inner left side of url box)

3. Tap “…”

4. Add bookmark

If you bookmark often you can edit this view and add the bookmark action to the screen in step 3.

@kaplag ah-ha, there’s the problem, I had no idea there was a menu hidden under the share app icons, and there’s no indication that one exists
