@johnb48 I think that kind of system is definitely the future for printing. It's a lot more economical and better for the environment than the old cartridges.

Do you think it has specs that are high enough? If I were to scan 4x5 negatives would it be useful? Would it have enough resolution? I don't have a feel for this.

@johnb48 The printer would be fine. The scanner, probably not so much. I'm not sure about that one, but a dedicated film scanner would be better.

I had that impression of the scanner as well. But I wasn't sure what to look for in the printer. But film scanners for LF are essentially non-existent.

@johnb48 I think the Epson flatbed film scanners are decent for 4X5, but I haven't tried it myself. I will soon though, if my V850 ever gets delivered😄 It's on back-order, but I will report back. My old Plustek scanner died a few months ago, so I ordered a new Epson V850.
