Phrases like "average user"... "normal people"... kind of set me on edge. We should just say "imagine a perfectly spherical person".

@cstanhope What was the name of that fighter plane designed for the average (as in body shape) pilot? It was a death trap, turns out real humans aren't of average shape

@cstanhope @kaleissin Yup, that's the story in question, I was also (and similarly vaguely) reminded of it and came to the comments for that reason, but you're already ahead of me!
