Confluence has what is possibly the worst document editing in the history of words.

Just let me easily import/export markdown. Jira allows markdown in comments, so it's not like Atlassian doesn't know anything about it.

@RenewedRebecca I migrated our company mediawiki to Confluence at management’s behest; we used to use markdown on MediaWiki or use its visual editor which had quirks but was usable. Confluence is so bad; it’s where documents go to die.
