Starting to think my UPS may have been broken?? It adds 100W to my total power draw of (otherwise) 140W lol.

The battery has maybe gone bad, it's been due for replacement for 2 years or so now... But ouch, that must've cost me a pretty penny

Ah, thankfully it's only a very recent development.

I wonder what would've happened if I waited much longer, would it just start using more and more energy??

@manawyrm It has active fans so I didn't really notice an extreme amount of heat, but surely that additional 100W must've gone somewhere!

I wonder if I'm going to see a gassy/bloated lead-acid battery when I open it up a few days
