Prediction: We do eventually get Medicare for All, but it's a privatized Medicare Advantage for All instead. (I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get this in the next 4 years.)

Politicians will declare victory, but healthcare and financial outcomes will still suck for everyone who isn't already rich.

@RenewedRebecca What's very interesting to me is (you may already know this) the plan you describe was basically Kamala Harris's health care proposal from the 2020 primaries? I was kind of wondering if we were going to see the idea come back with Harris as Democratic nominee but I never saw it (or any kind of health care plan, really) even mentioned during the 2024 campaign
