Like a lot of #trans folks, I'm anxious about what life will look like for us after Inauguration Day.
I made a document to help my partner explain to her company why we might need to flee the country within the next few months. It includes sources to get the uninitiated up to speed on pending threats to #lgbtq rights.
Apparently a few folks in our network found it helpful for structuring their own conversations with loved ones, so I decided to just release it.

It's a great structure for anyone in any vulnerable community to use to fully consider their feelings, needs, and possibilities.
May I adapt it somewhat and share it with a few immigrant communities near me? Some folks I know are not thinking seriously about the threats before them.

I'm fairly senior so can help approve helping people relocate, and this document of your concerns will lay the ground for contacting all of our trans employees in the US and starting the prep in case they feel they need to flee. No-one will want to do this, so the least I can do is help make it less traumatic if any need to.
