@moof@cupoftea.social of course not! i'm Audhd as all shit and sometimes miss my directions on the GPS cause I think that a left was a right or the other way around ​:neodog_woozy:​

@thiscatis in case you can’t remember, starboard is a corruption of “steer board” as you used to have a board on one side of the boat to steer with before the invention of a rudder. It’s easy to remember because the steer board is on the same side as the steering wheel…except you don’t drive in the UK - never mind.

In Spain I was always told that “Babor” was on the side of your “Mano Boba”, the idiotic hand… but you’re pandextrous, so, um, never mind.

In formal dinner parties you always pass red port to the left, but I am not sure that you’ve ever had port, let alone passed it to anyone in that sort of dinner party. Never mind.

So, not sure that port and starboard is better, really.

Have you thought about putting stickers with “L” and “R” on your steering wheel instead?
