Anyone else feel scared that an Italian friend will find out what kind of inauthentic "Italian" food abomination you've made at home and be horribly offended?

@psc I will absolutely order pizza with pineapple if there's an Italian at the table, for comedic effect. Live and let live! Don't let the Italian food police in your mind stand in the way of a lovely home cooked meal.

@plexus I heard that it's a sin to use both garlic and onions in a sauce, but for me it's unthinkable to not do that. No ragu-rets!
I also ate it with kimchi. And to the Korean food purists, you're not spared either: the kimchi was made from pointed/sweetheart cabbage
Also, the pineapple pizza idea is GENIUS, I may have to steal that!

that's proper stupid. i bet most italians will disagree...

honestly korean italian fusion is amazing, and i won't let anyone take that away from me. i've been hooked on that shit ever since i tried aaron and claire's (youtube) creamy kimchi pasta 😄
i will admit i'm not a complete food anti-essentialist though. i won't accept people calling cream sauces carbonara
