@frameworkcomputer Sure. I asked for payment, not shipping. Last time I tried to order a framework laptop from Germany, I needed either an Austrian or Dutch bank account, or a Google or Apple contract to validate a credit card payment.

@nik You can purchase from any EEA country, but you must ship to one of the above countries. If this proves to be unsuccessful, please open a ticket for assistance.

@nik You are able to pay with Debit or Credit (Amex, Visa, Mastercard) as well as Paypal, Google and Apple wallet, iDeal and EPS. From Germany.

@frameworkcomputer EPS and iDEAL are not helpful because they only work with Dutch and Austrian banks. Credit cards require Apple or Google.

PayPal seems to be new, it was not offered when I tried to buy a framework laptop three months ago.

@nik @frameworkcomputer HUH?! credit cards don't require apple or google? what are you even talking about.... credit cards are mastercard or visa. they have nothing to do with apple or google

@thibaultmol @frameworkcomputer Yes, they do. At least in Germany. Federal law requires all online transactions to be verified through a "Push TAN" mechanism, and virtually all credit card providers require the use of a Google or Apple smartphone. In practice, online payments through credit cards do very much require Google or Apple in Germany. (Do some research before judging somewhat for not knowing what they talk about.)

@nik @thibaultmol @frameworkcomputer They require a Smartphone is what you are saying...yes?

And while not all banks allow it a huge margin also works with GrapheneOS. So if you have an issues with Google/Apple you might want to switch to that.

@K4mpfie @nik @frameworkcomputer OK i understand the issue better now.

What payment methods would you like to see then? crypto? or bank transfer?

Technically they can do bank transfer but only if you're a business I think. but maybe @frameworkcomputer can properly respond now that the question is claer

@thibaultmol @K4mpfie @frameworkcomputer As already laid out multiple times in this thread, they already DO support bank transfers. But if you are in Germany, you can only use a DUTCH or an AUSTRIAN bank account. What I want is to use a GERMAN bank account.
