FYI for people following the UHC CEO shooting. Unlike handguns, which are often not registered because there is no state requirement to do so, suppressors (aka silencers) are subject the NFA and essentially those must be registered with ATF to possess one. If the suspect was found with the suppressor, it won’t be difficult to confirm identity IMO
