Good news, although not final until bill is enacted: misguided and unworkable proposal to try to make registration for #military #draft "automatic" has been removed from conference draft of NDAA. See excerpt from conference report below.

Background on why this is such a bad idea (still relvant becuase this ptroposal will likely be renewed next yea, as long as self-registratioin with Selective Service System continues to fall):
