From time to time, I hear opinions that Ohm's law should be dropped from the primary school curriculum. (I am very biased here, as my high school field of study was electrotechnics.) Let me just say: today I took an old, broken Christmas candlestick, replaced the bulbs with LEDs, added two resistors with a power switch, and used a random old 18V power supply (+ some wiring and soldering). All I needed was Ohm's law to calculate the resistor value correctly 😉 #ohm #electro #christmas #education
