Putting together my Treaty Principles submission. Coming from the U.S. where nobody cares what I think, I've decided to go the direct and extreme route of saying exactly what I think:
I strongly oppose the Principles of the Treaty Bill. It is a bad faith attempt to remove Māori from having a voice in our government by undermining the founding document of the nation. If it was a more overt attempt, it could arguably be defined as treason.

The Principles of the Treaty Bill should be abandoned. If the originators of this bill are so opposed to co-governance between Crown and Māori, perhaps consider that by all rights, it should be the Māori who are the entire government.
