Three times in the last month, I have been nearly run over while on a marked pedestrian crosswalk. Each time:

• I was crossing at a junction with a side road (with stop sign) opposite

• I started to cross, bc nothing coming

• A car zooms up the side road and turns left, not stopping as required

• Driver clearly did not look left before turning, so did not see me until nearly hitting me, even though I was 8-10’ across by the time they started turning.
