I hate YouTube's new UI on Android.

I cleared the data on it and it seems to have restored the old UI

Then I turned off background data, to try to prevent it from downloading the new features for UI.

I'll report if it works next week 😊

From there download clipious and watch YouTube videos through that

It will go through invidious:

• no tracking

• no algorithms

• no ads (without a Google account)

• no chromecast casting

I know f-droid, it has useful stuff but not all open-source can do all one would like (source: 20 years of being a developer).

Your recommendation seems to assume I haven't checked first (which, you know, it's kinda rude). And no, I wouldn't want to cast my whole device.
