It's Bandcamp Friday again!

Well I was working on the editing for what I thought would be the next release, and if I'd stuck to that, it probably would have been ready for today. But then I got an idea for a new song, and all my music-noodling time went on that instead! So the most recent recording is still Red Ferrari, my 3-minute pop song with a car metaphor :-)

So far, the new one has a verse, a chorus, a "middle bit" and an end, all of which I'm pretty happy with. Yet to come is a second verse. And then I'll have to learn to play the bassline I've invented :-)

Vexingly, I've been having some trouble with my fingers, probably a kind of RSI. I don't think it's from bass playing, but it does overlap with bass-playing movements, so I can't be practising as much as I'd like to at the moment. But the only limiting factors with wrangling the already-recorded stuff are time and headspace!

I also have another fairly recent new one, which I think is finished as regards writing, and likewise needs learning so I can actually play it like I've imagined :-)
