What a good moment to think about this amazing ecosystem under our feet, the support for the roots of our food and thus our existence, the home of multibillions of organisms that work day and night to recycle nutrients, break down pollutants and make our planet a thriving habitat.

Don't ask what the soil can do for you, ask what you can do for the soil! 😊

Here some random suggestions to help your soil:

• know your soil

• participate in a community gardening project

• learn what #agroecology is

• get in touch with a consumer cooperative that distribute agroecological products

• down with cars and consumerism (=concrete)

• down with industrial agriculture (=soil destruction on a planetary scale)

• check out #degrowth

• support indigenous livelihoods

• walk barefoot in the mud :ecoanarchism_heart:

@mrillig @earthworm Great comments! We have a local agroecology genius who got us started on our own mini food forest last year (big success). About a month ago, we gathered to watch ‘Common Ground’ (hosted by the local Slow Foods group. Highly recommend!
