I asked myself: what can I do about the genocide that the state of Israel is perpetrating over the people of Palestine?

Learn that it is a genocide according to several UN agencies, Amnesty International, and more, despite of all the propaganda negating this obvious point.

Learn that the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, and Yoav Gallant, former Minister of Defense, accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Learn that a large cross-party majority of the Bundestag in Germany (where I live) approved a resolution allegedly to combat antisemitism but in practice allows repression to critics of the state of Israel, points to Muslim immigrants as a risk, ignores that the actual risk continues to be the rising far-right, and supports the zionist (and antisemitic too!) conflation of Jewish religion and nation and Israeli state.

(This was dense, but this resolution is so shameful in so many ways.)

Learn that the long-term and effective campaign by Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) continues to be officially considered antisemitic by the German government.

Learn that #BDS has organized basically the only citizens' campaigns that have influenced powerful economic supporters of the state of Israel.

This is why now I'm learning more about https://bdsmovement.net/ and how to support it as a plain, anonymous, and non-partisan citizen willing to help if only a bit to stop a genocide.
