@aussocialadmin Ugh, no, that's awful! If you'd like to modify your Masto version, i'd much rather you added the #GlitchSoc fork, coz then my spare Masto account, ie, aus.social, would finally stand a chance of becoming my primary Masto account.

@aussocialadmin Oh that would be fantastic! I am doubtless incorrect, but i thought i had a faint recollection that when i last asked, 12 or 18 months ago'ish, the answer had been a more firm "No". IMO, afaict, many peeps would applaud a new-found capability to format their toots, such as is available with glitchsoc. Thanks for considering it.

@MsDropbear425 @aussocialadmin me too. @trunksapp allows for markdown whilst posting and reading on the app but when I use mastodon in a browser on the desktop it often just looks weird.

@cheryanne @aussocialadmin @trunksapp That's odd. Could you pls do me a favour? Write a quick little toot that way with formatting, so i can see how it looks at my end? Also, if possible / convenient, maybe include a screenshot of it in draft form, so i can see the formatting code? No biggie, i'm just curious to try to understand possible causes of what you described.
