Scene: It’s 40F and dark out, I’m going a few blocks over in the city to get takeout. I’m riding my onewheel, bundled up and wearing a full face helmet to keep the wind out. There’s a group of middle aged white guys walking in the middle of the road, and I pass them, nothing that unusual. But then, one calls out in a voice dripping with sarcasm: “Saving the environment??”
Ok buddy, let me take 10x as long to DRIVE over there through the city and also give up my prized street parking spot. What gets me the most is that “saving the environment” is actually a punchline to some people… #onewheel #environment
