Interesting start of day;

Got an email from Mastodon to take down a simple question asked at a post about a child Holocaust victim.

The post was titled in memory of a young girl being deported and then killed in Auschwitz.

Underneath the post was a picture of a young girl from that time (I think it was a generic picture, not the actual person).

My question was, 'why then is this happening now to Palestinian children?'

Evidently I was not to compare one atrocity with another.

@Antigrav I’m unsure what’s going on with mastodon dot nz. I recently saw a response to a post I’d made about Hana-Rāwhiti Maipi-Clarke’s haka by an account I follow who also follows me and regularly posts news on Palestine asking if anyone knows why my account has been suspended. I responded saying my account hasb’t been suspended but it appeared to be suspended for them. Weird. I too have been asked to remove posts questioning Israel’s actions.

@airshipper @jeremy_pm @zl2tod , I think in Germany it's now illegal to criticize Israel - I mean, come on, how much guilt and pressure must AIPAC and similar put on a nation to put that in law?

Regarding the local meditation I haven't personally experienced too nasty stuff.

I, this time, was issued a warning and a threat that if I wouldn't take it down myself, they would and chalk a big minus on me.
