My #Pixel8 is now running @GrapheneOS and apart from some smaller quirks, it's a smooth experience. I think not getting bugged by "yet another AI feature you should try" is a great side effect too. Will probably write a short blog post after a month or so.

@GrapheneOS from my unfinished notes, hence kinda in a rough list:

@GrapheneOS I also had the issue that the Google Playstore within the work profile failed to install Google drive, but again I have to look into that to file a proper bug report.

@crepererum Did it install it when you tried again? Failing to install once is likely not GrapheneOS related.

@GrapheneOS I've experienced a few cases of "fails once but works on retry" with other apps. Google drive however fails repeatedly with this error message

That FIDO2 issue may be a security key issue or Android compatibility issue, not really clear. We know there are currently lots of little issues with passkeys with sandboxed Google Play but not FIDO2.

You can use Pixel Camera even without sandboxed Google Play for features not yet in GrapheneOS Camera if you really want them. RAW support will be coming to our Camera app soon but not UltraHDR for a long time.

Apps needing exploit protection compat mode is 100% due to app bugs.

We plan to add another launcher grid size option and adjust the icon sizes for each option to match the Pixel Launcher grid configuration. We haven't gotten around to it yet but should have it done fairly soon.
