Alright, here's what I'll do.
Before I post or message anything negative/controversial/disagreeable/etc., whether in public or in private, I'll write the whole thing down in an Org file, where it will wait at least 24 hours.
"Read-it-later" works great [1], so maybe "write-it-later" will also.
I was about to say something about "say-it-later" but, I suppose, that variation usually becomes "never".

@sqrtminusone This article is a treasure trove of good advice. Thank you Pavel for sharing it with us.
I have been battling with my own deficit of attention and only the past few months did I learn that overcoming such an issue would require constant tweaks to my workflows, habits and most importantly the ability to identify my (digital) weaknesses and act accordingly.
For example, I removed most of the distracting things from my smartphone and that rendered the phone obsolete save for browsing a site when I have to, listening to a song on NewPipe (where I intentionally do not subscribe to any channels) or texting a friend on Signal.
I'm excited to hear Attention Deficit Trait is a thing, this way even people undiagnosed with ADD can still recognize in themselves certain characteristics that hold them back from self-development.

@grtcdr Yeah, there's a lot of good stuff in Tiago's blog. I get why he's so popular :-)
The read-it-later workflow is also very useful for me. Otherwise, I tend to read my RSS semi-compulsively, like just reading random articles to distract myself from doing some extremely tedious task. And having this buffer between selecting articles and reading is really helpful.

@sqrtminusone I'm planning to take Wallabag (self-hosted) for a spin to see if the read-it-later mentality will encourage my reading. It's good to know that there's offline support for the Android client.
RSS, as you mention, has always managed to entertain in me when I'm offline and this is especially the case on my mobile phone, mobile data is rather expensive.

@grtcdr Yeah, Wallabag is great. I wish it were as polished as Pocket though (and I wish Mozilla kept its promise to open-source Pocket).
But I've made a small script that watches starred articles in Tiny Tiny RSS and pushes them to Wallabag, HTML included. It's pretty convenient because I proxy images in articles and because RSS Bridge parses pages better if a bridge is available.
