Interesting. My resting heart rate is much lower with my new Xiaomi watch compared to my Fitbit and now I'm wondering which is more accurate.

@moxiemoshpit

Put your finger on your wrist or neck and count the beats for 15 sec (with a timer) and multiply by 4. That will tell you which one is accurate.

@geos The watch calculates resting heart rate during sleep so manually calculating is going to give me a higher number regardless.

@moxiemoshpit

Ahh, got it. I missed that you are after the overnight number. I would say whichever one is more accurate when you are awake is probably more accurate when you are sleeping. My wife switched from Fitbit to Garmin and found the Garmin to be more accurate than the Fitbit. If you do figure out which is more accurate please share.
