My mom moved in with us a year ago after not being able to find a living wage job for too long. And De got laid off right after that, so we limped into the election with 2/3 of our household chronically out work and we still didn’t vote for fascism. But, yeah, it was the economy.

Capitalism is breaking so many of us. And man is it hard on the kids looking for work, too. I don't know how anyone gets through the bullshit filtering and gets their resume even seen to get hired.

@darwinwoodka I edited the post to make it a little clearer that last sentence was sarcasm. My point is that we felt the toll of hardship here, just like a lot of folks, but we didn't use it as an excuse to vote for fascism.
