Updating my remote work blog post (https://taffer.ca/posts/2024/remote/) some more, and I'm shocked by how many company websites are:

• effectively identical in design/content
• using terrible cookie warning/acceptance UIs
• hiding their Careers page (probably accidentally)
• stuck behind broken Cloudflare setups

It's almost like you could make a living consulting on making company websites better.

Better yet, you could join Accenture Government Consulting - and make those websites ... /even worse/. And make very good money doing so.

Then, when a few years go by, you can follow my lead and go back into those outfits as an independent - and fix 'em. For double AGC's billing rate.

It works just like a dream.
