We have enabled the IFTAS Fedicheck on all our Mastodon instances. This keeps our server-blocklist in sync with their '66% agree' blocklist, keeping you safe from content that violates our rules, like racism, transphobia, CSAM, and other terrible stuff.

@mlanger I prefer not to, until they make it configurable in Mastodon.. Have you tried other platforms where it's configurable, like Sharkey? (https://sharkey.world) , you could create an account just to try it?

@mwadmin I’ll look into it, but it’s not a top priority for me. Your instance is stable and well managed in a day and age when instances are disappearing. I appreciate that. (You may see my financial contribution in December; I try to do all of that kind of stuff the same month every year.)
