Hey fedi: do you have any recommendations for news pages which are also viewable without an ad blocker? Adaway on android stopped working for me and needing to click through 10 ads and at least 3 modals is very annoying. Also couldn't care less about notifications and your news app

@mtrnord Firefox(/Fennec)+ublockOrigin (or Bromite) and just the news websites (or https://github.com/quantenProjects/news if you need inspiration 😉)

Or just an RSS Reader? At least some of the popular German news sites all have feeds

@quanten ok followup question: which rss Reader do I want on android these days? Ideally foss of course but it should have a good ui and ux...

@mtrnord I actually never used an RSS reader on Android. But I would have a look at what the fdroid repos can offer.
