There must have been some squeaky bottoms in the west when ICBM tracking picked up on a launch by #Russia into #Ukraine.

Apart from proving some of them still work, now when 'we' see an ICBM launch, we won't definitely know if it's carrying conventional or nuclear payloads. So, do we launch counter nukes or not? Do we inadvertently become the first nuclear strike?

Don't get me wrong. I am not in any way a nuclear proponent. I'm just pondering how the military machine might respond, or not.

@incredibish If russia launches an ICBM at a NATO country and they don’t want Moscow to be glassed over, they better provide clear warning and some assurance that it’s not a nuke.

Not that it would make that much of a difference. It would be the end of the russian federation either way.
