"Trump's pick for Commerce Secretary, billionaire Howard Lutnick, is under fire for improperly mixing his personal business interests — including close ties to crypto — with running Trump's transition team.

Just another reminder that Trump serves the oligarchy, not the people."

@rbreich

"Under fire" from whom? Grifting off the govt dime seems to be a requirement for Trump's Cabinet picks. Whatever Trump and his cohort did his first term, it will pale in comparison to the immunized grift Trump will attempt his second term.

@rbreich Trump and Musk have one thing in common. Both ignore their failures and focus on their wins.

This approach will apply to Trumps nominations for cabinet posts.

He marked the "W" column when he made the nominations. If any fail (and a couple are sure to) that won't matter to him at all.

He got the "W" the minute he nominated someone he felt deserved a favor. He will have done his part. If the nomination fails, that is a problem for the nominee, not him. He didn't fail, they did.
