Some asshole designer somewhere decided that it would be a good idea that most smartphones* have nowadays only ONE USB-C port and no jack for earplugs.

I hope this person bumps their toe or step barefoot on a lego brick. Repeated times.

@earthworm yeah it sucks shit. but now you can drop your phone into the toilet and maybe it will keep working without having to be thoroughly dried? or you can take it in the pool? I dunno, the use case is for a small amount of people and ruined headphone jacks for everyone else
