@jamesbritt Does some website = monstertoyblog.com?

That is the website, the federated website. Clicking on @blog should take you to the site's profile on the Fediverse platform you're on (Mastodon), and there you should be able to click to follow the account, see picture, do you not see this?

If the username in the post is linking you directly to the website then something is wrong.

It links direct to the website monstertoyblog.com.

@ blog is actually another account on mastodon.social (that's why I added the space).

@jamesbritt hmm. The account handle to follow is "at blog at monstertoyblog dot com", and that's what I'm typing. But Mastodon seems to automatically change it to just " at blog" in posts. I dunno why that happens, or why it links to the blog directly for you - it shouldn't (and doesn't for me). Sorry!

Is anyone else on #Mastodon encountering this or able to explain it?
